Question: I live in Mo. and need to no how 2 remove an organizer from LLC. partnership.?

My wife wants off of my business and it is a LLC small welding shop. She is on there as an organizer, i was told that we just need 2 wright a letter stating that she nolonger wants to be in the LLC and sighn it. WE live in MO. can some 1 plese help. It does say “This LLC is a partner ship 4 tax purposes”

Answer: Not sure about legalities related to marriage and assumed partnership(whether or not she is listed she could be considered an owner? you'll have to ask a lawyer)

Question: NJ S-Corporation paying office rent out of state?

My S-Corp is based in NJ and I operate in my home office in NJ.

If I want to expand to another office in Atlanta and use a friends Den in her apartment as an office, can I pay her rent for the use of the den and expense this?

And am I correct that it would also come out pre-tax, since it is coming out of the s-corp vs my taxed personal income?

Or would i have to incorporate again in Atlanta?

Answer: I would think you could expense it. But to be sure you can ask an accountant.

The nationwide small business consultant company, Grow Small Business, held its first Small Business workshop last month at the Southfield Westin Hotel.

The workshop’s theme, Small Business “Bailout,” attracted attendees from all parts of the tri-county region.  The audience of small business owners and entrepreneurs was delighted and encouraged to learn that there are legal and financial resources available to them.  

The “Bailout” workshop planners, Dennis Nazelli and Emily Holt, arranged for experts in the fields of legal and financial affairs.  The Program Manager for Women’s Business Center, Kathi Boyle, represented the Center for Empowerment & Economic Development (CEED).  Director Earl Carruthers represented his company, Graceful Financial Solutions; and, Business Loan Officer, Derek Thornton, spoke on behalf of CharterOne Bank, the largest lender of business loans in the state of Michigan.

Emily Holt, a successful owner of her own insurance agency for 20 years, used all of her time slot to explain the many benefits of the Pre-Paid Legal Services program that protects entire families from law suits, IRS issues, Identity Theft restoration services, writing a will, contract review, foreclosures, speeding tickets, landlord/tenant issues, owning a small business, and many more issues that would normally cost a fortune if handled by an attorney from the “yellow pages.”  Ms. Holt received a resounding applause when she announced that the Pre-Paid Legal membership program only cost $1.17 a day.

The second presentation of legal resources was given by Dennis Nazelli and it centered on the explanation of the business legal plans offered by GoSmallBiz.com.  Mr. Nazelli illuminated the unique and reasonably-priced coverage of the GoSmallBiz.com plan.  It covers legal and business consultation, legal and business correspondence, legal forms, debt collection, IRS tax issues representation, contract and document review, trial defense representation, internet marketing, construction of your business website to name just the plan’s major elements.

Are you looking for how to make money at home online? I surely was. Are you? When we even look, and try to dig up a little information we get smacked with all these crazy promises and next they require us to use our hard earned money to hear some guru’s secret to internet marketing that will make us rich over night! Ever heard the saying, If it sounds to good to be true? I’m NOT saying that it cant be done, I am saying it’s not quite as painless as some would like you to believe. Everyone is saying “put down your money with me! I will explain to you how in scarcely minutes to produce (insert gigantic sum) of money at home online!” Often there’s something free of charge they give away with the hidden agenda that you will pay out money on something else they exhibit for you later on! I have personally worked from home online for more than a year at this point. There are lots of ways that it can come about. You can obtain genuine employment such as retail customer service or to take orders online, even for certain fast food companies! Or you can work for yourself, and that’s the way I’d suggest you go about this. If you can obtain one of those real jobs online it’s wonderful to enjoy a regular income coming in, but at what cost? I need to know what to do and how to do it, and next I need to perform my part and be regular at it. Consistency is the secret, true you need a good quality product weather that’s an affiliate thing, or something you’ve put all together yourself, a real thing that others might be interested in, that’s challenging to decide on. People’s needs and interests are so varied how do you manage that decision? Do what works, use a businesstemplate, all predone for you. After a bunch of looking, I’ve at last found how to make money at home online, this online business template is not my creation, but I believe in it. I like it for the reason that it’s FREE to start up, it is simple, it is fun. It gives you all of the advantages of associate marketing with with a reduction of hassle, because it’s a Template. You don’t have to know everything already, and given some dependable effort on your part it can make you what I am, someone who works from home on your computer.
