Question: What documents & licenses do I need to open a remodeling business in sc?

I have an EIN and the articles of organization, whatelse do i need and what licenses??? Please be specific

Answer: You will absolutely need a contractors license(most states require one0 and a business permit. Also remember to file with the state department of taxation and you'll likely have to file with your state's corporate authority(basically the state level equivalent of the SEC), since you will be an LLC.

Question: I live in Mo. and need to no how 2 remove an organizer from LLC. partnership.?

My wife wants off of my business and it is a LLC small welding shop. She is on there as an organizer, i was told that we just need 2 wright a letter stating that she nolonger wants to be in the LLC and sighn it. WE live in MO. can some 1 plese help. It does say “This LLC is a partner ship 4 tax purposes”

Answer: Not sure about legalities related to marriage and assumed partnership(whether or not she is listed she could be considered an owner? you'll have to ask a lawyer)
