Question: would it be easier to get business loans if you become an LLC and get an EIN?

I filled bank bankruptcy a couple of years ago. so I cant really get any loans.
If I had my business made into an LLC and got its own Federal Tax Identification Number, would it be easier to get a loan. Or would they still look at my personal record, and deny the loan because of the bankruptcy.

Answer: you may have to look towards investors or a private lender (ie family members, friends, or draw up a business plan and attract real investors), banks check personal financial reports when giving loans to a small business.

Answer: If you are looking to find out what company certain EINs belong to, I suggest you go to Freeeisa.com http://www.freeerisa.com/Default.asp as they allow up to 3 EIN searches for free.

Question: Adecco Tax ID Number?

I saw this question was posted already, and not much help was given, but I was wondering also if any has the EIN Tax ID Number for Adecco.

I was told my W2 was mailed, but the local office failed to update my address; it’s “lost” at the moment, and they won’t send another until March, I need my refund urgently in order to pay bills, and can’t wait.

I realize using the last pay stub makes my return more prone to mistakes, i can call the IRS, etc. Please don’t respond with answers like that. If anyone has the # and can truly help, I would appreciate it. Thank you!
To those who have said “I” didn’t update my address, doesn’t know what it’s like to deal with Adecco…I contacted the office 4 times everytime my pay stub was incorrect and faxed the change in writing. It was finally updated last week from October

Answer: IF Adecco DOES NOT send you your W-2 in the mail BY January 31st, of 2008, you should report it to the IRS as soon as possible (within a week).

Adecco doesn't usually mail their W-2's until the end of the month which is a bit ridiculous in my opinion.

If you need your W-2 right away you need to go to your local Adecco office because they can print it there for you but you need to be present to recieve the information.

Answer: You don't need the EIN to run the numbers. You will need it to file and it will be on your W-2 along with other information that will be needed. Don't even think of filing until you have the W-2 in hand.

Also: Look into dissolving S corporation to avoid paying the state tax. Dear Karen: My business was incorporated by an online service on the last day taxes were due for the year. Had it waited one more day, I could have saved $800.
