Question: I need to find a EIN and State tax id number?

for Charming Shoppes of Delaware inc. Were could I find these for free? I would like to work on my taxes. Its not on my pay check and I haven’t gotten my w2s yet i just wanted to work on it early and I am having a hard time finding the numbers. Thanks

Answer: You don't need the EIN to run the numbers. You will need it to file and it will be on your W-2 along with other information that will be needed. Don't even think of filing until you have the W-2 in hand.

Question: If you file for personal bankrupcy and recently got an EIN# to start a business what headaches might u run in2?

for example: you owe 50k on credit card and medical bills but at the same time you get an EIN# to file for credit again in order to start a business. The EIN # does get linked back to the persons ss# but only the govt knows that..not necessarily the creditors..if with your corporation things turn out successful, do you have to worry about getting your business accounts (bank account,investment account) liquidated because of your past mistakes?

Answer: You only have to worry about your past mistakes coming back to haunt you if you create a paycheck under ssn. The government only gets involved when you owe them money.

So you should be good. My sister has used an EIN instead of her SSN for years and none of her past creditors have come to haunt her.

However, if I were you, I would slowly pay them something so they have no reason to investigate anything. Also, i would find someone to help me with my finances to make sure this doesn't happen again.

Question: Looking for business credit card for my small biz. Personal credit is bad but I have my EIN, but been declined?

I already applied for 2 cards and have been declined. Trying to build my business credit. Since its for my business, I use my EIN and not my SS#. Any advice where else I can turn to for a business credit card? Thanx.

Answer: Now a days they are not giving credit cadrs that easily. Also dont apply if you think they will decline your application as this will effect your credit history. Try Amex they used to give the business cards very easily. Also apply thru the same bank in which you have bsuiness account.
