Question: Which president started the “redistribution of wealth” with this program?
It’s one of the most effective popular programs we’ve had in the last three decades. It’s called the earned income tax credit. It’s a program whereby, if you’re a working person or a working couple and you’re below the poverty line, the government will actually give you money. That’s a redistributed program. It’s a program which takes money from the upper classes and gives it to the lower — to the working poor.
Answer: Reagan, a republican!
I wonder why the Republicans have forgotten this important tax. Now they are upset because Obama has something similar? People are just ignorant and will feed off anything with out even knowing their history. So funny too because all McCain and Palin have been shouting about is going back to the Reagan era. Go figure!
