Question: Child support question -?
My son’s father has paid hardly any child support during the past several years. The last time I brought him to court to get him to pay, he claimed that he was unemployed (yet he was employed, just working under the table).. so the judge ordered him to pay only $33 per week. He’s successfully evaded paying even that.
Our case is finally being reviewed, and I am anxious to see what happens. My question is – will the court ask him to provide proof of income tax returns? I know he’s filed at least a few years out of the past ten, and claimed self employment income…Answer: I agree with Kristiane.
